The Lance Mitan Suspension Bridge - Replacing the Lance Mitan Bridge
Why the Suspension Bridge Failed
Damaged Boat - Damaged Flat Bridge
The fishing boat that it is claimed was damaged by debris when the Lance Mitan suspension bridge collapsed. The upper sides of the front deck were dented by the impact and the fibre-glass coating splintered.
The fisherman is seen beginning his repairs.
The Flat Bridge, just East of Moruga over a small un-named river, has blocked the connection of the coastal Lune Road through Moruga to the Lance Mitan suspension bridge area ever since it was river damaged - some years ago. This bridge would again be under the jurisdiction of the Princes Town Regional Corporation who have been unable to repair it. (See Map)

An historic web page for this site; one of the first set by The Living Islands Projects. The page is left mostly in its origional presentation format, apart from an external update to its active eMail link; and internal coding and 'METAS' that update its compatability, list its content and records its dating history.
